Chef Grant Irvin cooks with a thoughtfulness that is uncommon in the industry. “It is less about locality and more about celebrating Texas heritage ingredients, “says Chef Irvin. “Finding a way to support local vendors and artisans while maintaining true to the history of Texas agriculture is paramount.” Being born and raised in Texas, while training at a classical French culinary school creates the perfect blend of approachable and comfortable food, while maintaining the highest level of technique and execution. “The simplest food can be elegant, when treated with respect and prepared with passion.” Chef has had an extensive background not only in cooking, but also in non-profit youth and family programs. He is a teacher at heart and is always looking for opportunities to give back to the community. Chef’s favorite activities are cooking with his twins and having a movie night with his family. Chef has three little girls: Olive and Eloise who are 3 years old and Hattie who is 7 months old. He has been married for 4 years to his wife Erin.
