Ashley came to UTGC from the Hills Country Club where she spent time as an assistant professional, retail coordinator, and instructor. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Ashley developed her passion for the game early. After high school, Ashley attended and played golf for the University of New Mexico and University of Texas. During her time at those universities, Ashley was selected for the All Mountain West Conference team (freshman/sophomore), a NGCA Scholar-Athlete (freshman/sophomore,) Big 12 Conference Team (senior,) and Golf Week Magazine Honorable Mention All -American honors (senior.) She also qualified for the US Women's Open in 2007. Ashley was elected into the PGA of America and received her Class A in September 2021. She received her masters degree in education in 2017 from Sam Houston State University. Ashley has a passion for teaching and coaching. She has her US Kids Golf Certification and has coached numerous PGA Jr League teams.
